Higher Certificate in Business Dynamics
For working professionals, aspiring business professionals, and anyone building a strong, practical foundation in modern business. Digital & Data
Higher Certificate in Digital Business Analysis
For working professionals, aspiring business analysts, and anyone who wants to work at the intersection of business, technology, and data. You will build practical capability in process improvement, data-informed decision-making, and technology-enabled change, delivered with higher-education rigour and built for the realities of the workplace.
A good fit if you want to:
- Analyse and improve business processes and support digital transformation.
- Build foundational skills in data analysis, digital strategy, Agile methods, and UX.

Accreditation and registration
Both qualifications provide a recognised pathway to further study, with access to diplomas (NQF Level 6) and degrees (NQF Level 7).
This qualification is accredited by the Council on Higher Education and registered on the National Qualifications Framework by the South African Qualifications Authority. MasterStart Institute is registered with the Department of Higher Education as a Private Higher Education Institution.

Our qualifications are accredited by the Council on Higher Education and registered on the National Qualifications Framework by the South African Qualifications Authority. MasterStart Institute is registered with the Department of Higher Education as a Private Higher Education Institution.
Both qualifications can be completed over a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years.
Learners may follow a 1-year study plan or a more flexible 2-year study plan, depending on their work, personal commitments, and preferred pace of study. Both study plans lead to the same accredited Higher Certificate qualification.

Your fee includes access to the full accredited Higher Certificate learning experience, including structured academic content, distance learning access, assessments, learner support, academic guidance, prescribed textbooks, required learning material, online library resources, and certification processes, subject to successful completion.
No separate prescribed textbook purchases are required. Prescribed textbooks and required learning material are included, so learners do not need to budget separately for these costs.
This is more than course access. It is a supported academic learning journey designed to help learners build practical workplace capability while earning a recognised higher education qualification.

Completing your qualification
When you meet all qualification requirements, we award your official qualification certificate in accordance with MasterStart Institute’s Graduation and Certification Policy, aligned to the standards of the Council on Higher Education and the South African Qualifications Authority.
To qualify for certification, you need to successfully complete the required modules, credits, assessments, and academic requirements for your qualification.
Certificates are awarded through MasterStart Institute’s official graduation and certification process.
If you do not meet the requirements for the full qualification but have completed certain modules, you will receive a Statement of Results reflecting the credits you completed.
